Planning for the homeschool year can seem overwhelming. These free planning pages will help you plan for the school year as well as organize other aspects of your life.
Do you feel overwhelmed with a new homeschool year starting? Getting my life organized, from homeschool curriculum to meals to cleaning, becomes a priority with a new school year starting. I have tried many planners over the years only to use them for a few months and then toss them aside. This year I decided to create my own planning pages so I can print as many as needed and only have pages in my planner that I’ll actually use.
I have created this to share with you as well. If you would like the PDF download, just enter your email address at the bottom of this post and I’ll send the free planning pages out to you.

Monthly Planning Page
See your whole month at a glance with this monthly planning page. I like to use this page for appointments and outings so I can see my whole month laid out. It also includes a notes section at the bottom.
Weekly Planning Page
This page includes eight boxes, one for each day of the week plus a to-do list. This is a great spot to record appointments and daily activities. There are many other ways to use it as well. Have you heard of planning from behind? I plan to keep track of the homeschooling done each day on these pages.
Homeschool Planning Page
The homeschool planning page is split into three boxes. I use one box per child to plan their curriculum for the year.
Meal Planning Master List
The meal planning master list, which is split into categories by food type, is a page to put meal ideas. Pull from this list to plan your seasonal meals.
Meal Planning by Seasons
Use the meal planning master list to organize the meals by season.
Monthly Meal Plan
This meal planning page has it split into 28 boxes and lets you plan your meals for a month.
Monthly Tasks
Are you like me and like to assign bigger housecleaning tasks to a certain time of year? There are 12 boxes on this planning page (one for each month) so those jobs can be assigned a month.
Reading List
I like to keep track of the books we read aloud in our homeschool. This is a page to keep track of those books and the date you read them. You can find a list of books we read last year in this post.
Notes Pages
Three different styles of notes pages round out these planning pages. Perfect for a brain dump, grocery lists, doodling, etc. You can print it with lines, dots, or a grid.
And there you have it! This is the planner I’ll be using and have actually already started using while planning for the upcoming year. If you would like a free printable copy of these pages just enter your email address in the form below.
